  • SLC Education Society is registered as a Non-Profit organization, Vide Registration No. 2250/2004, under Registration of Societies Act, and having 12 Years experience in Training and Placement of youth and has been working in the principle domains of Capacity Building, Livelihoods, Skill Training mainly targeting Illiterates, Semi-Literates and Literate people living in rural areas and urban slums belonging to the disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
  • We conduct Training Programs on Livelihoods and facilitate to set up their own tiny units and also provide guidance and references.
  • We also undertake, conduct skilling, training activities to ensure ‘Wage based employment’ with various employers, after completion of the training.
  • Our programs are mainly aimed to improve the earning capacities of beneficiaries and to create opportunities, to lead a decent and dignified life.
  • We primarily works to bring Socio Economic Development by imparting quality based Technical Education to the youth.
  • There are about 2500+ strong alumni of students who have graduated from our campus since 2007, and have been actively associated with various diversified corporate organizations and spread across the countries serving in various capacities as wage Earners, middle level management and some are Managing Companies as successful ‘Entrepreneurs’.

  Key Process
  • Technical and Management Education: SLC Educational Society adhere and strictly follows Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Guidelines, 100% without deviation, aligns with Timelines as prescribed and described by the Affiliated Universities, and Institutions of National Prominence – All India Council of Technical Education, Pharmacy Council of India.
  • Social Development Programs: we follow Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, Process, Localized Generic Procedures of Donors and Funding Agencies.
  • Up-Skilling and Training (Unlearning and Relearning): is conducted purely based on the recommended Syllabus, Courseware by the Employers where in batch size of 30 people to 150 is usually requested.
  • Skilling intervention of Employability (Wage based Employment): SLC Educational Society is recognized as PIA, By the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
  • SLC Educational Society as PIA (MoRD, Government of India ) we apply as on when advertised for various projects starting with > Project Application > Initial Screening > Qualitative Appraisal > Sanction Order > MOU > Implementation of Training > Based on Standard Operating Procedures > Placements.
  Presently

We address following issues on Livelihood through Skills Intervention:

  • BoP (Bottom of Pyramid): We ensure to customize skilling and training modules to target poorest socio-economic group belonging to BoP, BPL, Vulnerable, Orphans, Destitute, Children of Single Parent, Girl Child and Women to bring back hope in their lives and enable them to build sustainable livelihood for their families
  • Socio Economic Improvement: We work towards bringing sustainable socio-economic development with the core objective of promoting a prosperous, innovative, and knowledge-rich, training programs, and modules that provide better livelihood opportunities and effective employability. It is measured with indicators, such as gross domestic product (GDP), life expectancy, literacy and levels of employment
  • Social Impact Outcome: We have adopted a framework that shapes our training and skilling programs to enable trainees towards better social impact based upon improved skill outcomes. Our training programs emphasize on building a stronger social system among our beneficiaries
  • Sustainable Development Goals: We focus on Sustainable Development Goals to improve economic conditions of the citizens, ensuring our efforts towards facilitating better quality life by promoting changes through participatory development process in the areas of health, education, by adopting better environmental outlook and protecting and preserving natural resources
  • To enhance the income of farmers: We support farmers in learning the nuances of improving the productivity, reducing the cost of farming inputs, increasing the crop yields, and diversifying towards high value crops (Cash Crops, Commercial Crops)
  • Post Harvest Income through Value Additions: We design special training modules for farmers’ community in handling, storage, processing, packaging, transportation and marketing of the harvest, including cooling, cleaning, sorting and packing handling, further processing of harvest for consumer consumption (or) as Ingredients for Value based Consumer / Industry Products, which gives farmers better pricing (income)
  Hospitality and Tourism
  • LOI’s (Letter of Intent) for 3000 People has been raised from various employers in Hospitality Sector
  • We are developing CRM – Voice and Non Voice to track job opportunities, openings on weekly basis with all Hotels, Restaurants totaling to 8000 Properties based all over India, and 80% of them registered with:

  ITeS / BPO (Voice and Non Voice)

LOI’s (Letter of Intents) for more than 5000 requirements, from major organizations that employ huge numbers of India, and several of them listed in Top 14 BPO Companies of Dataquest

  • In efforts to keep continuous employment facilitation cycle, we have given 3rd party agency to conduct (undertake) study to engage HR Startups, support them to become HR Vendors with all the 7000 Companies listed in BSE, NSE, NASSCOM, CII, FAPPCI, ASSOCHAM
  • Domestic requirements exceeds global totals in the space of ITeS / BPO (Voice and Non Voice), though with GST Introduction, the Business Growth is expected to grow exponentially, and rural industry is slowly taking shape, as of now Mandal Levels, Gram Panchayats levels, it is difficult to find trained manpower, with right KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude) to handle Office Administration, Compliances, Statutory, and Generic Business Correspondence
  • We have all compliances, eligibility criteria as described and prescribed in the Notification 20 of 2017 – MoRD, Govt of India

Currently, we have connected with SLRM of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir and Karnataka. Started initiatives in Telangana state from 30th December 2017.
